US President Joe Biden has stated the readiness of the United States to negotiate a new nuclear arms control treaty limiting long-range intercontinental ballistic missiles with Russia in 2026.
But a Nairaland commentator Sltp while analysing the call opined that it’s a US ploy to geopolitically dominate through a shot-range missile advantage. Sltp, who was commenting after pro-Biden Minjim rebutted pro-Biden posty56 said:
“The US is really cunning but they can’t outsmart Russia. They want to put an embargo on very long range intercontinental missiles while opening up bases in all regions of the world so they can easy get to their enemies with their short range nukes. At the same time, they try to bully their enemies and threaten invasion whenever their neighbors or the neighbors of any of their allies accept to host a military base of an enemy country eg, they did it with Cuba and Russia and very recently with Solomon’s Island and China”
