I just read that Igalaland uses the 4 native Igbo calendar days of Eke, Oye, Afor and Nkwo which are Eke, Ede, Afor and Ukwor in Igala land.
Igala is said to have been one of the children of Eri, who founded Igbo civilization.
The last Ochi Igala had the title ‘Agaba Idu’ which is also an Igbo title.
It is also a popular name in Igbo Land. Igbo and Igala should develop cultural interactions to bring themselves together.
