With 79 votes, Ahmed Lawan has won the senate presidency of Nigeria. After his victory, fellow contestant Senator Ali Ndume shook his hand in the spirit of sportsmanship. I hope this senate surpasses all other senates Nigeria has had. The masses need good laws to protect and promote them.
