Mexico is paying indirectly for border wall – Trump

President Trump has taken to Twitter to disclose that to him, Mexico is indirectly paying for the controversial border wall it has so far refused to fund.

He said this payment is coming to the US through USMCA, the agreement that replaces NAFTA.

Mexico is paying (indirectly) for the Wall through the new USMCA, the replacement for NAFTA! Far more money coming to the U.S. Because of the tremendous dangers at the Border, including large scale criminal and drug inflow, the United States Military will build the Wall!

In the face of massive opposition to the border wall, it might be something Trump would want to say to show his base that the wall is on track – building the wall was his first campaign promise.

But let’s hope Mexico doesn’t backtrack on USMCA because of this disclosure. Afterall, politics is all about perception.

Running The States’s not been easy on Trump. He faces fiercer-than-average opposition. So, he might have decided to take his chances with the disclosure.
