You don’t put eye drops in your ear.

In other words, you should have different approaches for different contexts. Recognise when a one-size-fits-all approach just won’t fit.

A wise man will recognise that you don’t hunt lions with a worm the same way you hunt fishes. If our wise man wants to live a long life, he would not use a bait and hook to hunt lions. He would rather use a good dane gun.

A man who says black is white in the city gates would be laughed to scorn.

If in the tropics, we fill our houses with ice blocks and attempt to use them to build igloos, the ice blocks will melt and turn to cold water.

The one who cries aloud when he should be absolutely silent has not listened enough to the words of the wise. Such a person should double their budget of wisdom literature.

To eat the fruit of the tree of life, we cannot indulge in senseless materialism. To become a personification of wisdom, you must follow the parts of the tree of life.
