France’s Macron won’t like this. This is the kind of nuclear deal he would have wanted to negotiate for French giant Orano. But an uneasy atmosphere vis a vis Russia, a preoccupation with Eurosceptism and Brexit, and the possibility of neocolonialist intentions being read into it preclude such a deal.
