Big Brother Titans: 2 South African Names That Sound Igbo

In the ongoing Big Brother Titans, 2 South African names stand out for sounding very Igbo. They are Khosi and Mmeli. Khosi sounds like the Igbo name Kaosiso, regularly shortened to just Kosi or K’osi.

Mmeli is the Igbo word for victory.

Not yet saying there’s a nexus here, but South Africans are a mainly Bantu people. And Igbos are the Proto Bantus…

Very interesting… Will post an update on this if new facts come to light.
