Nigeria’s national stadium has been renamed after the winner if the annulled June 12, 1993 president election, MKO Abiola. This will go a long way in entrenching the lessons if Nigeria’s Democratic experiences in the consciousness of the people. Buhari has done more than any other president to immortalize Abiola.
Atiku’s legal team have continued their demand to inspect INEC servers as a way of proving that he won the last presidential election. This comes even as Presodent Buhari continues his observance of June 12 as Democracy Day. Nigeria’s democracy is maturing every day.
