Federal Government Has Set Aside Land In All States For Ruga Settlements

The Federal Government is reported to have gazetted land in 36 States of the Federation for the creation of Ruga settlements, media reports state.

Meanwhile, a coalition of United Nations agencies, led by the United Nations Trust Fund for Human Security, UNTFHS, in the weekend, met with some stakeholders to discuss the issue.

Also, a group of Tiv professionals in the Abuja, have called on the Federal Government to immediately stop the Ruga settlement project in Benue State or they challenge it in court.
