Winners Of My 600 Points Transfer

@adams5g won 230 Points for the comment below:

“I always choose breakfast.
Breakfast is often described as the most important meal of the day, providing as it does sustenance and energy (i.e., calories) for whatever activities lay ahead. As nutritionist Adelle Davis famously put it back in the 1960s: “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.” (Sifferlin, 2013).1 According to the latest evidence, we should all be aiming to consume around 15–25% of our daily energy intake at breakfast (i.e., 300–500 calories for women and 375–625 for men; Spencer, 2017; though see also Betts et al., 2014). And yet the evidence from largescale surveys suggests that somewhere in the region of 18–25% of adults (Haines et al., 1996, Kant and Graubard, 2006, Spence, B.,, 2017), and as many as 36% of adolescents in North America skip this putatively ‘most important’ meal (Seiga-Riz et al., 1998).2

Reason for @adamsg55 win is that: he created a great, resource-filled reply by curating a great article; and the link he provided also led me to discover an authority site with lots of expert info. I learnt a lot from adam5g’s reply and learnt even more from the article he linked to.

@yamcy won 200 Igbodefender Points from my 600 points because of the comment below:

“What is Land in Igbo?”

Reason @yamcy won:

@yamcy’s reply was valuable to me because it will help many who want to learn a language when she gets her answer. It is concrete and particularl. It is not a vague reply where someone says ‘exactly’ without telling us more about why they exactly agree.

Reason why @omaonu won is because the reply is packed with so much value. He also provide some cultural guideline as to how people should address their age-mates and how they should address their elders. For instance I remember that you say ‘thank you’ to your age-mates with ‘oshe’ and ‘thank you’ to your elders with ‘eshe’.

Great replies. I think great topics will also be rewarded soon.
