The Ooni of Ife is one of the most powerful kings in Nigeria. He is the King of the Source of Yoruba race, one of the largest ethnic groups in Nigeria.
Ile Ife has been known as the source of the Yoruba race since Odudwa captured it in the 10th Century AD. And it has been so till this day.
Ooni recently marked his 3rd year on the throne in royal style.
