Ondo South senatorial zone has been suffering from gross absence of electricity for a very long time, but on Tuesday, Ondo Governor Olusegun Mimiko made moves to end the ugly situation – his government signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), in order to restore light to the affected area.
While signing the memorandum, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Aderotimi Adelola, praised the people for their patience, while calling on them not to vandalise electrical installations and promptly pay any debts they may be owing as agreed upon in the memorandum.
