In a wonderful piece by BBC, I saw this quote exposing how salt ‘increacses blood pressure’ from Dr Pauline Swift of Blood Pressure UK, and decided to share.
Dr Swift said,

“If you eat too much salt, it causes extra water to be stored in your body, which raises your blood pressure.
She gives some professional advice about how to reduce High Blood Pressure. She stated;
“Eating more fruit and vegetables and regular exercise, such as walking, jogging, cycling, swimming or dancing, also lowers blood pressure by reducing blood vessel stiffness so blood can flow more easily.”

Among other useful advice on how to reduce blood pressure, the article quotes Dr Swift as stating that even if one doesn’t add salt to their meals, processed foods may also contain lots of it.
This is wonderful
Thanks for the information
