The Department of State Services has alleged that CEO of Capital Oil and Gas Ltd, Ifeanyi Ubah, diverted about 80 million litres of petrol kept in his custody by NNPC.
According to the agency, Ubah ignored NNPC’s repeated demand for the product said to be worth N11bn in order to cause artificial scarcity of fuel in Nigeria, an action it said could plunge the country into widespread scarcity of PMS and economic chaos.
