President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the release of 70,000 tons of grain as part of emergency relief measures for vulnerable Nigerians.
For those who suffer most egregiously, the Government has announced multiple measures to assist: 70,000 tonnes of grain is being released from the National Strategic Grain Reserves for distribution to those in most need;

Thank you, Mr President. But more still needs to be done. You need to really really ensure that the grains reach the exact people you intend it to. Doing that will help calm the unrest that is being reported in several parts of your country.
Also, the criteria for defining vulnerable Nigerians should be exhaustive rather than limited. This is because many Nigerians are really really hungry right now. Mr President, currently anyone with less than N100k in their bank account(s) should be described as a vulnerable Nigerian.
