During the 2016 elections Meghan Markle, who is the current Duchess of Sussex threatened to leave the US if Trump defeated Hillary Clinton.
Well, Trump won and Meghan, true to her word, left the US permanently for a royal palace in the UK. She is no longer a US actor but a British royal duchess. (Talk about a prediction that came to pass.)
As Mr Trump readies to visit Meghan’s new country and family in his UK state visit, he responded to Meghan’s 2016 comments.
The Sun asked the Donald about the duchess’s comments, and he responded thus; “What can I say? I didn’t know that she was nasty.”
We will be watching the body language between President Trump and Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex – that is, if she doesn’t temporarily relocate to another country during the Donald’s state visit.
