According to a Nairalander with the moniker Deomelo, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is actually laying the groundwork for a presidential run in 2023 with the Tradermoni loan scheme.
Deomelo buttresses his argument by pointing out that the scheme has taken Osinbajo to the nook and crannies of Nigeria. He points out that Osinbajo has created a lot if goodwill with market people through the scheme.
A possible snag facing Osinbajo is the rumoured interest of his political boss in the 2023 elections. If Tinubu decides to run then, what would Osinbajo do? Only time will tell.
