Nwafor Igbo Paul Onuachu scored the second fastest goal in the history of international football. And he is just starting off in international football.
The rising star blasted the ball past Egypt’s goalkeeper, Mahmoud Gennesh, less than seven seconds after the start of an international friendly between Nigeria and Egypt. His goal was enough to lift Nigeria, as the match ended 1-Nil.
The historic match held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba. Onuachu’s goal is second only to Lukas Podolski’s goal after six seconds for Germany against Ecuador in 2013.
