Putin, don’t listen to the Western media on your second term

I have been reading a lot lately about some Western publications speculating that Russia’s Putin is contemplating whether to run for a second term or not, and the whole thing is funny to me. Why would they for one moment insinuate that Putin would contemplate such?

Is he not entitled to a second term under the Russian constitution? The way they analyse the question, you would think that Putin would be breaking the law if he runs for a second term. And this is a leader who is so popular among his countrymen. It is baffling the way Western media thinks they are entitled to tell people what to do.

Putin should not let the Western media tell him what to do. It is clear that they are against him, and he should take their advice with a pinch of Russian salt.
