The photo at the end of this article shows some Lagosians transporting themselves by seating on a moving train. They are doing this because they want to avoid paying transport fare like those inside the train. That is very dangerous, as every one of them risks losing life or limb if they should fall. Unlike inside a train, there are no walls, seats and other safety fixtures to stop them from falling – there is just them in the open air, seating unfastened on a moving vehicle that has to travel relatively fast. One man who fell recently was lucky as the train cut off only one of his hands.
In other words, to save his money, lost his hand. But apparently, other Lagosians have refused to learn from such occurences.See photo below
