Osinbajo faces hostile reception in Kano but reassures residents

Residents of Kano State had a thing or two to tell Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, as he visited the state today. The major message from their chants as they welcomed him was that they are going through very hard times.

The protest was more of a lamentation with the hope that the Federal Government would provide solutions rather than a confrontation.

A sympathetic Osinbajo reassured the residents that government was working hard to find solutions to the problems faced by the people which they had listed when welcoming him as ‘no fuel, no power, no money’.

The Vice President also promised that the government would assist traders who lost shops in the recent market fire in the state that burnt down almost 4000 shops.
