A Nigerian mob was seen on the streets destroying the car of some foreigners said to be Chinese and attacking them in Lagos.
The violent demonstration is widely seen as a reaction to xenophobic attacks on Nigerians resident in South Africa over the past three days.
However, some police officers arrived promptly at the scene and forced the protesters to run away.
