Many Families Have Deep Problems Due To The Economy, Not Curses Or Bad Luck

These days many families in Nigeria seem to have several problems stemming from the poor economy.

The boys may not have anything meaningful doing in terms of steady and gainful employment.

The girls may have to depend on sugar daddies or even go into prostitution.

They keep wondering if there is a curse. Or if they were born with bad luck. It is not always as a result of curse or ad luck, but often as a result of the poor economy.

In other countries, the youth would have the option of taking education loans and car loans and mortgages to buy houses/land if they are ready to spend years of their lives repaying. But that is a much better option than the lack of funding opportunities most Nigerian youth face.

People don’t always have bad luck or curses following them but the poor state of the economy. The earlier the economy can experience a turn-around whose positive effects trickle down to the youth, the better.
