    Sure,, being persistent can make someone rich..you just have to keep trying and not giving up until you succeed

    @sylviaebs I think you are right. There is this saying that it takes 10 years for a business to succeed. While I don’t want to really agree with the 10-year timeline, I know some (not all) businesses that have succeeded in that timeframe, and other businesses have succeeded in a shorter period, sometimes within a year. But one thing I noticed in all of them is that the owners persisted after initial failure, then they found success after that.

    @michellecute you have a point there. The person who quits has already lost. While the person who continues still has a chance of winning, no matter how slim. And who knows, luck may shine upon the person unexpectedly.

    It seems a persistent atttitude is the last hope of someone who wants to succeed.
