Hope this is not part Igbo marginalization. It is also widely alleged that the closure of Enugu Airport might be influenced -in full or in part- by forces that don’t want an Igbo airport to be busy during the visit Xmas season.
“Our investigation has shown that the pipeline from the pumping station at Port Harcourt to Aba depot is safe and through, and the contractor paid to safeguard it also on the ground,” it stated.
The association added that it could not, therefore, fathom why products were not pumped to Aba depot, considering the socio-economic effect, including job losses, waste of time and other resources.
