‘I’m not a thief’, cries former Petroleum Minister, Alison-Madueke 

Diezani Alison Madueke has come out to deny insinuations on Aljazeera that she stole a huge amount of public funds while in power. This is coming after her house in Abuja which is said to be worth millions of Dollars was seized by the Nigerian government.

The former minister, who has been in London for a long while says her allegations that she stole a great deal of money are intended to tarnish her image.

  1. If she’s not a thief what then do we call a person who embezzled the wealth of a sinking nation and ran away? Why did she not come back to prove her innocence? A clear conscience fears no accusation.
