Friend of the Igbos Femi Fani Kayode has called for the renaming of the city of Port Harcourt. The only name that seems to come to mind is Igwe Ocha, the former name of Port Harcourt.

A renaming of Port Harcourt to Igwe Ocha would help to remind the world that Port Harcourt has always been and remains an Igbo city.
The ball is in the court of Governor Chibuike Ezenwo Wike and the members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
