When asked during a CBS interview who he considered to be his biggest foe globally, President Trump named the European Union, because of “what they do to us on trade.”
He added: “Now you wouldn’t think of the European Union, but they’re a foe. Russia is a foe in certain respects. China is a foe economically, certainly a foe.”
This description did not go down well with Donald Tusk, the president of the European Council. He fired back at Trump in a sharp riposte on Twitter.
He tweeted:“America and the E.U. are best friends. Whoever says we are foes is spreading fake news.”
Trump is not scared to say things the way he sees it at all time.
Trump doesn’t believe in mincing words to please anyone.
