The President’s call is welcomed. But at the same time, the school authorities, law enforcement and society at large should make sure innocent people are not framed up for acts they never committed.
We recall a recent saga where Brazilian soccer star Neymar was found to have been falsely accused of rape and his career almost ruined.
The new practice in Norway where 2 people are required to sign a form of consent before engaging in sexual intercourse should be adopted in Nigeria.
That will go a long way to help people know who truly committed and act and therefore deserves severe punishment.
Good one
May God help us
