He was Mandela’s contemporary in the fight against Apartheid. When Mandela was in prison and other freedom fighters like Oliver Thambo were in exile, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu was also a thorn on the sides of the Apartheid system, condemning it incessantly from the pulpit.
He built a great legacy. Rip
