Human rights icon Desmond Tutu has died. He was a vocal activist against injustice to South Africa’s black population during the Apartheid struggle. May his soul rest in peace.

    He was Mandela’s contemporary in the fight against Apartheid. When Mandela was in prison and other freedom fighters like Oliver Thambo were in exile, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu was also a thorn on the sides of the Apartheid system, condemning it incessantly from the pulpit.
