TRUMP: ‘Be careful what you wish for Max!’ 

We don’t know what President Trump has in mind with this warning, but we do know he has shown a willingness to protect members of the Make America Great Again movement.

But let’s put this in some perspective: more meanings should not be read into Maxine Water’s statement. It was a crass statement to make, but let’s remember that at no time did she calk for violence.

Maxine Waters should do more herself to deescalate tensions. Her speech was certainly not the best of Maxine Waters.

Maxine Waters might be a good student of the Saul Alinsky school, which advocates personalizing agitations with ridicule. But in the age of Trump, she risks overheating the polity with such diatribe.
