Nigerian player Theophilus Ugwu has been sentenced to death in Vietnam for drug trafficking.
“During the investigation, Ugwu did not declare the act of illegally transporting drugs. The defendant claimed that he only received backpacks, not knowing that there were drugs inside.”
One question is: what has the Nigerian Government done to make sure that he is not executed if he didn’t intentionally carry out the crime he is being accused of?
