Harbor Bank of Maryland, the only Black-owned bank in the US state of Maryland is celebrating 40 years in business!
It is no mean fit in a country that has battled slavery and inhuman treatment and systemic marginalization of Afro Americans from the segregation era till date.
It’s no mean feat in a country where the thriving Black Wall Street was destroyed (thanks Oprah Winfrey for shedding light on that, and thanks President Joe Biden, for shedding light on that injustice).
So, let’s celebrate with Harbor Bank for keeping on keeping on. Harbor Bank, Joseph Haskins, please extend financial facilities to the long-suffering Afro American country of Haiti.
