An IPOB loyalist of Nnambi Kanu took to Nairaland to blast politicians from the South East. He pointed out that Nnamdi Kanu “commands more loyalty in the South East than the zone’s political leadership. See below:

The political leadership of the South East brought this upon themselves. Most of them did not perform well during the years of plenty. Now, Nnamdi Kanu has come and is talking of taking the zone out of Nigeria, and a large passionate following is listening and trust him. This is making the job of promoting national unity difficult for Zikists.
We know Igbos have a lot to lose, in fact, too much to lose if the South East is carved into a new country. But Nnamdi Kanu is speaking the truth when he says the political leadership of the South East has largely failed, and that, combined with Igbo Marginalization, has made convincing many South Easterners of the need to remain in Nigeria difficult.
But it is not too late for this political leadership to sit up, impress the people and persuade the pro-Biafra-independence movement to calm down.

Nnamdi Kanu has become more powerful than all the five governors of the south east.
