The composer of this hilarious photo essay I have linked to is on point. Yorubas are known for their brand of parties called Owambe, that are indeed high-class social occasions. These parties are so much in demand that many uninvited people still invite themselves with sometimes unpalatable consequences as the pictures i the link will show. Lol.
