News reaching our desk is that President Muhammadu Buhari has signed a presidential proclamation proscribing Nnamdi Kanu’s Biafra seperatist group, IPOB.
With the proclamation signed, the Minister of Justice of the Federation will now proceed to the courts to give the proscription legal backing, reports said.
That’s wrong, it is the duty of the judiciary to do so not the executives.
The international community has disagreed with the presidency over the issue.
