At this point in our existence as a country, at this difficult point, I am disappointed to hear that many members of our National Assembly are busy fighting for new foreign official cars to be bought for them.
The first question is: what happened to the current official cars they have? Must we change their cars every few years? When oil was oil, that wouldn’t be much of a problem, but today, Nigerian oil is no longer the black gold it used to be. Why are these dudes doing this kind of thing?
They should be racking their brains about how to avert the national calamity that could befall us if this nation continues in its economic quagmire, instead they are fighting for something that will depreciate in a few short years. I tire o.
Must they even use official cars? What is wrong in patronizing IVM?
Like I keep saying: We will get it right one day, just a matter of time.
