We just heard news from a major online newspaper that former Managing Director of Pipelines and Products Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Suleiman Achimugu, has died. Course of death is widely believed to be coronavirus.But a Nairalander named Yenefer has raised doubts that Mr Achimugu died of coronavirus.Taking to Nairaland, she wrote:
But how can they say he died of covid-19 when he was actually undergoing dialysis, has a complications from diabetes and high blood pressure? When he was tested positive his BP when up the roof. Fake news.
So, the question is; did he die of the virus, or from other ailments?
It doesn’t matter if he was undergoing dialysis or had diabetes, those who have underlying ailments even have lesser chances of surviving Corona virus than those who don’t have.
