Eyebrows have been raised after Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai, announced that 150 students of the Command Science School, Lafia, will get automatic admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) upon graduation. Nasarawa State is in the Northern part of the country where Buratai comes from.
One of the questions being asked by Nigerians is this: why should 150 students from Nasarawa get automatic admission when each state in the country is supposed to get 9 students?
If anyone knows the answer to that kweshun, they should please tell us. Maybe the students impressed him, sha. But Nigerians asking this need an explanation. Already, Buratai has been accused of nepotism over the issue.
