Igbo traditional ruler Peter Onyekwere Ebigbo elected into World Council On Torture Victims – first black African to be so elected

The Eze (Igbo traditionl ruler) of Amaofuo Autonomous Community in Imo State, Eze Peter Onyekwere Ebigbo, who is also a Professor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has been elected to the International Council for
Rehabilitation of Torture Victims in Copenhagen, Denmark.

He is the first black African to be elected to the council.
