The Russian and Ukrainian “wahala” has been the most important news lately and of recent Russian military entered some part of Ukraine’s eastern territory in what so many people have termed “the absolute declaration of war” by President Vladimir Putin.
Well, if you are lost on the gist. Let me quickly bring you up to speed.
Let’s start from the beginning.
So, many years ago, Russia, Ukraine and some other countries in Eastern Europe were all siblings from the same mother- “Soviet Union”
With Russia being the appointed elder brother.
But after the sudden death of their parents on “26 December 1991”, all their parents landed properties including kitchen stuff like Armour cars, drones, nuclear weapons and vegetables like biological weapons, etc was shared between all the siblings.
As per elder brother, Russia received the largest of them all.
Now, keep that in mind because we will come back to it.
As years roll by, Russia has been very prudent with its gifts and has grown so massive that it is now rated as the second most powerful country in the world.
His siblings?
Lol…most of them are broke.
But there is an even bigger problem.
Other Russian siblings except Belarus are not in love with Russia.
They say he is a bully and so they are going outside their zone to fall in love and romance with countries like the USA, France, UK, etc.
Russia is not happy with this and in fact, even wants the family to come together again in other to preserve their family legacy.
Even if it is to eat their favourite “Solyanka” again.
Now, remember when I told you that Russia received the largest share of their properties?
Well, it helps Russia in raising millions of children and even enough to trains millions as soldiers.
So, Russia is not only one of the most largest countries in the world, but it also has one of the most powerful military power in the world.
According to global firepower rankings, Russia is number 2.
Now, you might not understand how powerful Russia is when compare to Ukraine until you know, for every Ukraine soldier, there is like 4.5 Russian military man.
That is like 5-1
Ukraine thinks this is scary stuff because even though, they don’t want to go back to their family, Russia has the power and can force them to come back home.
” Remember when your Daddy forced you to eat?” Lol
So because of this fear, Ukraine wants to join NATO.
NATO = The North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
It is a military organisation that comprises many countries with the USA as their most powerful member.
Their MOTTO is “Injury to one, injury to all”
So if one country is having wahala, other member countries will come together to help their “cartel man”
But Russia doesn’t want to have any of that.
They say, “Ta if you can not come back home, you can not marry that wife-join NATO”
And they are kind of justified.
If Ukraine joins NATO, it means countries like the USA-an an arch-rival and sworn enemy of RUSSIA can bring their weapons and spying equipment to Ukraine and peep at Russia while their main man is doing something with his babes.
And that is not fair.
Not to smaller countries like Mali or Austria or Ghana though, but to powerful countries like RUSSIA, that is a no-no.
In fact, the US know this self, they will never agree for Russia to come close to Mexico but they just want to try their luck.
So, to prevent this from happening and to show how serious they are about it, Russia started bringing together thousands of army people around the Ukraine border.
They wanted to enter the country “codedly” until Ukraine found out on time and shouted to other countries to come to their aid.
Other countries stood up immediately because they know what Russia can do.
Some countries sent weapons to Ukraine to help them, some sent motivational speakers(military advisers), others like Germany even sent helmets. Lol
They hoped that, if Russia see all of these, they will fear and turn back.
But not Russians, their heart is as iced as the many snow that dots around Moscow.
So, now you know why Russia Invaded Ukraine.

This is an attempt by Putin to announce the re-emergence of Russia as a super power (not just a world power). But will the Western powers (US, France, UK,etc) accept it?

Do you notice similarities in China’s claim on Taiwan and Putin’s claim on Ukraine? Putin recently stated that Ukraine ‘was created by Russia’ and ‘not meant to become independent’.
Ex US Vice President Mike Pence says he believes China may make a similar move – to Russia’s Ukraine move – on Taiwan soon.
He said he got feelers to that effect during his recent visit to the Korean Peninsula.
Remember China has always announced that they see Taiwan as a breakaway region not a sovereign state.
It all comes down to when the Chinese Communist Party under Mao Zedong vanquished Chiang Kai Chek and his Nationalists from the Chinese mainland.
Chiang then moved his government to the island of Taiwan. From there his government and its successors have called themselves the Republic of China (ROC). The Chinese Communist Party which calls China People’s Republic of China (PRC) has refused to accept any Taiwanese movement toward independence. The US is in support of ROC independence though. But China (PRC) sees that as an intolerable interference in Chinese internal affairs.
We dey watch…

Since this war, the price if crude oil has skyrocketed. There is a humanitarian emergency in Ukraine. I hope the population in Ukraine doesn’t face a humanitarian catastrophe.
Someone said Russia is taking serious steps to prevent casualties. But to lots of Ukrainians, the war is a very unfriendly action from their Slavic brothers, the Russians.

Am never in support of the method used by Russia against Ukraine but do you know this is just like pay back? Although till date, Russia and Cuba are still strong alliance but when Russia built their military base in Havana Cuba, what happened?? That year USA declare War on Cuba until that base was changed? Why did USA did that?? Simply because they know it will give Russia access to some of their privacy. Same thing Russia is trying to Avoid.. If Ukraine join NATO, it’s like giving USA free access to their intelligence especially that ISLAND in Ukraine called CRIMEA which was like the HQ of their command during the Soviet Union. (Remember Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 because of that). I still stand, the best way out is TO GIVE PEACE A CHANCE. War is never a solution to anything

I don’t expect them to. But our mentality has agreed to the fact that whenever USA did anything, they are right, if it is others, they are wrong. Although it has its consequences, there is nothing wrong (in my opinion) of trying to proof yourself as strong (especially when it doesn’t involved shading of blood which some how it’s practically impossible but possible). Remember the COLD WAR?? It was a war fought between USA and RUSSIA on who was superior (no shading of blood). Russia proofed themselves as Superior by sending the first man to space YURI GAGARIN. they Russia (Soviet Union) thought they have won until when humanity never thought it’s possible, JOHN F KENNEDY (then USA president) send the first man to land on moon NEIL ARMSTRONG. At the Soviet Union accepted defeat which Ukraine was strongly part of until 1991 when the Soviet Union was disbanded per se. If not because this fight indirectly affects them, American would have been the benefactor of this fight if it turns out to be a bloody war as they are a Capitalist nation by selling weapons. PEACE IS THE ONLY WAY FORWARD

Another reason why Russia doesn’t want to see NATO in Ukraine is because Ukraine is the birthplace of Prince 🤴 Vladimir of the House of Rurik, Grand Prince of Kiev, (who founded the Kievian Rus and was proclaimed Prince of all the Russias) that is today Russia Ukraine and other defunct Soviet areas. They see Ukraine as inseparable to their history and cultural identity.
To the Russians Prince Vladimir is the Slavic equivalent of Charlemagne, or his father, Pepin the Short, Mayor of the Palace of Austrasia and King of the Franks, the historic founder of what is today France and Germany. They see Ukraine as a special place, and any putative EU-NATO entry as an intolerable encroachment.
But in an armed conflict like this, they have to take extra care not to cause a humanitarian catastrophe.
