This reminds me of how bubonic plague was eventually contained in Europe.
Hundreds of years ago, the bubonic plague struck Europe and started killing Europeans. There was no cure. People were dying in droves (eventually one third of Europe’s population).
It was after sometime that someone noticed that the epicenter of the plague was dirty, rat-infested areas.
So, the solution that eventually worked was to clean up dirty rat-infested areas and the plague was contained.
This publication by Washington Post seems to suggest that people should reduce going out. What do you think?
