In the link below are photos from the destruction of mini refineries by the Nigerian military this evening (May 22, 2017) in Igbiri Aka Okrika,Rivers State.This is done in a country where a litter of fuel is as high as N140.
In developed economies like the US, they would have given these mini refineries licences, and then regulated them for quality control. But in Nigeria what happens, creativity and the entrepreneurial spirit is dampened and discouraged.
If we are to develop as a country, our attitude is one of the things we have to change.

Destruction of illegal refineries will further worsen the situation.
It is better to legalize it so as to increase production than destroy it.
