91The normal iodized salt (a.k.a table salt) can raise blood pressure. So it is wise to cut down on ‘table’ salt. On this a safer alternative may be pink (Himalayan) salt which have been found not to increase blood pressure. This is just for information purposes, and is not definite medical advice.

Have a consistent bedtime routine.
Keep potential sleep-stealers out of the bedroom.
Drink less, exercise more. .
Know that sleep and heart health work both ways.- 0
Most people get less chance to sleep, while some have the habit of not sleeping early.

You are so right. Also, adults should try to sleep 6 to 7 hours a day.
- 91
Not getting up to 6 to 7 hours of sleep can increase blood pressure for adults.
- 91
Not getting enough sleep can cause the eyes to become bloodshot. When the eyes are bloodshot they have a kind of unhealthy red look that shows the person really needs to catch some badly needed sleep.

Hot chocolate drink can help one sleep.

0Eating a healthy breakfast before starting the school day is linked to improved concentration, better test scores, increased energy, a higher intake of vitamins and minerals, and even a healthier body weight. Breakfast is especially important for young students whose brains use up about half of the body’s energy.

0Breakfast provides a lot of your day’s total nutrient intake. In fact, people who eat breakfast are more likely to meet their recommended daily intakes of vitamins and minerals than people who don’t.

@sylviaebs do you think multivitamin tablets can make up for breakfast?

@cake Multivitamins are used to provide vitamins that are not taken in through the diet,, so multivitamin can maybe make up for breakfast but it is preferable you get your vitamins via meal

0Reading should be more tempting than good food.
- 91
@jonimisi don’t you think if one reads on an empty stomach the rumbling in the stomach would stop any knowledge from digesting in the head?
- 0
I know. What I mean is that we should seek knowledge more than we seek good food

0What’s your idea of exam fever? Have you gotten an experience?
If yes, please share with us 😊- 0
Not really gotten an experience though… But i think the idea of going to sit for an exam has a way of driving fear into student most especially in Nigeria education system,, where students are not provided with adequate learning materials and yet the students are expected to know everything 😏
- 0
True. Most times the examiners don’t even know the answers to the questions they set.
- 0
I think where the fear or “fever” comes in is when the the student or the person being examined is not fully prepared for the examination.
- 0
Because from my experience, the days I’m fully prepared for an examination, I feel so courageous and fearless.
Especially when I know the examiner is expecting less of our efforts 🤣🤣 - 0
That’s you’ve not experienced it @michellecute
- 91
I like the relief that comes after just taking the exam. Like a heavy burden has been lifted.
- 0
Yeah. And after that you forget about everything you’ve read 😩

0Don’t take/buy medications without the prescription from a medical personnel. Also, don’t skip the time you’re given to take medications because you feel that you’re fine.

Skipping the time to take the medications can gradually make the parasites causing the illness more resistant to the medicine.

0There are 4 main blood groups (types of blood) – A, B, AB and O. Your blood group is determined by the genes you inherit from your parents. Each group can be either RhD positive or RhD negative, which means in total there are 8 blood groups.
- 0
What’s RhD?
- 0
RhD is Rhesus factor ,Whether someone is RhD positive or RhD negative is determined by the presence of the rhesus D (RhD) antigen. This is a molecule found on the surface of red blood cells. People who have the RhD antigen are RhD positive, and those without it are RhD negative. @jonimisi

Where can we find the pink salt?
You can find it in big shops. Some know it as Pink salt, others know it as Himalayan salt. But in case you case you don’t find it online, you can also find it in Jumia.
