WHAT IS THE SOLUTION OF JOBLESS IN NIGERIA?
- January 4, 2022 at 3:45 pm #48328
Government should empower the private sector to create jobs. Electricity should become constant and reliable.

…and most importantly many of us are not productive that is it let call a spade a spade
The youth can so many great things. There’s need for society to encourage them, leave them to do their thing and guide them were necessary.
Look at the wonders the youth are doing in online comedy. That gives hope.

F. Kennedy once said in one of his quotes that you should not think of what your country can do for you rather think of what you can do for your country.

@cake yes I agree with the fact that some youths are doing well in some area of life but still, they are not self-driving in intellectual skill exhibition. They only do things the saw one doing and is kind of making a living from in the act neglect their own inbuilt skills. Because one is doing comedy that you have mention for example and are making it you will see the majority of youth jumping into comedy leaving their own talents behind not know that only comedy can not solve our problems. When you concentrate on one part of life and neglect the others life will suffer defeat and that is what this nation is suffering now this nation is suffering from neglecting defeat.

Honestly speaking,, waiting upon government or private sector for employment might seem fruitless and time taking… Learning a skill or opening up a business (buying and selling) can be very productive..We humans have alots of needs which i believe going into a business like selling of baby products for example can earn the entrepreneur alots of money,, because those are daily needs of a family, owing to the fact that couples round the nation in diverse places gives birth everyday…so starting up a business is the cure for joblessness rather than waiting upon employment from firms that requires connection from high places.. starting up a business requires huge funds at times, depending on the business though, but little by little it will expand,,so little beginings is not really a bad thing

There are lots of solutions to joblessness in Nigeria; some of which we can achieve individually.
Firstly we should start by showing love to one another. It may sound confusing but take for instance, I own a firm or employed in a reputable firm, If I get the opportunity to employ someone else, I will definitely start by someone I love and care about. Most people get opportunities to employ people but because they don’t care about the person, they rather neglect the opportunity.
Secondly, just as @sylviaebs highlighted another solution is learning a trade, become an entrepreneur and be able to also employ people.
Thirdly, another effective solution is by development, in the sense that if only our leaders will drop greed and invest money in development; like building of industries, acknowledging the qualified individuals for a particular job and employing them to work in their actual field. In that way, we will have more qualified people working in their various fields (accountants working as accountants not as administrators, an engineer working as an engineer not as a banker and so on).
Lastly, the rate at which the government bring in foreign investors should reduce. Nigeria has capable individuals that can be trained and will even do marvelously well compared to those foreigners. Thanks!
