Former Female Midfielder Ifeanyi Chiejine Is Dead

Sad to announce that former Super Falcons midfielder, Ifeanyi Chiejine is dead.

According to a Nigerian Football Federation tweet, Chiejine, a legendary star in African women’s football, died after a brief illness.

May her soul rest in peace.
