Fashola’s star dims as blackouts become the norm

Just coming back home and there is darkness everywhere. If you are in Lagos or any of the big cities in Nigeria, this would not be news to you. What is really annoying is the fact that these blackouts are unnecessary. Why? There are coal deposits that would have provided enough fuel for electricity generation- since they say the blackouts are as a result of unavailability of gas.

Fashola that used to be a star, has ruined his star power by his failure to properly address the country’s electricity issue. Before now, people used to dream of a future Fashola presidency. But now, no one is seeing such visions.

Mr Fashola, you are one of the biggest successes Nigeria has had in terms of administrative excellence. Don’t let the absence of light cause a dimming of the shine of your star. Set up an emergency plan for coal fired power plants. I guarantee you, you will not go wrong there.

Secondly, please stop the cabal that doesn’t want most Nigerians to get prepaid meters. It is not to late to save Nigeria from blackouts, and come out on top once more.
