The usual symptoms used to identify possible coronavirus are coughing, sneezing and fever, among others. But according to the BBC, researchers have dsicovered 2 new symptoms.

The symptoms are: loss of taste and loss of smell. While people with other diseases like the common cold show similar symptoms, BBC notes that 18% of those reporting symptoms of coronavirus to the Coronavirus Symptom Tracker app have reported experiencing loss of taste and smell.
