Nnewi based Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company (IVM) has said it is ready to produce ventilators if the government orders for it, given the current coronavirus pandemic.
Ventilators are used to help coronavirus patients who can no longer breathe on their own to keep breathing. Nigeria currently has less than 500 ventilators for coronavirus patients.
Even though it will take several months before the production starts if there is an agreement, no one knows how long Nigeria’s issue with coronavirus will last.
He was very much ready to help his people but the government chosed to look the other way.
