President Buhari is expected to travel to Saudi Arabia on Monday for the Future Investment Initiative summit, FII today, 28th October, 2019.
According to Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu, President Buhari will be speaking about Nigeria’s economic opportunities in a bid to attract the investment of Saudi Arabia’s sovereign investment fund in Nigeria.
“Given the increased investor confidence in Nigeria’s economy, President Buhari will use the occasion to speak about the economic opportunities that abound in Nigeria, the effectiveness of his administration’s policies to improve the business environment and invite investors to the country.
“It is noteworthy that the total value of capital inflow into Nigeria increased from 12 billion dollars in the first half-year of 2018 to 14 billion dollars for the same period in 2019,” Shehu stated.
He should also go with Nigerian business delegation and negotiate business deals Nigerian businesses can currently execute.
We wish the President good luck in his bid to attract increased investment in Nigeria.
